Tracey Bilut RN, BSN, CCM:Tracey has more than 14 years of experience handling workers’ compensation claims. Throughout her career she has specialized in the management of difficult cases including traumatic brain injuries, amputations, burns, chemical exposure, disc injuries and repetitive motion injuries. Her clinical experience includes emergency room care and bedside nursing on medical-surgical, telemetry and orthopedics units. She is also experienced in providing forensic reviews of difficult medical cases and reviewing disability applications to pension funds resulting in millions of dollars in savings. Tracey has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Illinois at Chicago and is a certified case manager. Tracey is the owner of Custom Case Management.
Barbara Brown RN:Barbara is a healthcare professional with broad clinical and management experience who has specialized in workers' compensation injuries since 1990. She was formerly the manager of health services in a private company where she oversaw administration of self-funded/ self-administered health insurance, short term disability and workers’ compensation plans for 1600 employees. She was responsible for organizing medical management of injured workers, coordinated return to work programs, supervised professional staff and functioned as a medical liaison with legal counsel on OSHA compliance, workers' compensation and ADA. Barbara began her career as an intensive care nurse at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, becoming the ICU head nurse, later the supervisor of all of the critical care units of Northwestern's two hospital Pavilions and the Manager of Prentice Ambulatory Care and its eight outpatient clinics.
Dana Kelly Burnell RN, MSN, CCM:Dana’s 30+ years of health care experience include 15 years with workers' compensation cases and a strong background in handling catastrophic files and conducting nurse liability reviews. In 2004 and 2005 she was ranked the number one nurse case manager in the Midwest. Dana possesses valuable knowledge, expertise and achievements in cost-effective case management and coordination of timely return to work for the injured worker. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from DePaul University, a Master of Science in Nursing from Rush University and is a certified case manager.
Rosie Eagle: RN, CCM:Rosie has been a registered nurse for 35 years. During most of her career she has specialized in medical case management with both large and small employers as well as third party administrators. Rosie has been responsible for individual design, implementation and management of a broad product line for both self-insured and fully-insured employers to include cost negotiations with local and national medical providers. Her catastrophic medical management skills have been highly effective in reduction of insurer's exposure and overall costs. Rosie earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Graham Hospital School of Nursing and is a certified case manager.
Kelly, Klus RN, BSN:Kelly began her nurse case management career with the advantage of having been employed in the workers’ compensation insurance field for six years, four of which were as a lost time claims adjuster. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northern Illinois University she was a nurse in a specialty hospital for long term acute care patients and did private duty home care. Kelly has solid knowledge managing catastrophic files and working with the legal and medical community.
Eileen Skisak, RN:Eileen has been a registered nurse for 14 + years, nine of which have been as a case manager. She is a well-known nurse case manager in the Chicago area among employers, physicians, attorneys and insurance companies and has case management experience in states throughout the Midwest including Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and Wisconsin. Eileen’s strong case management skills enable her to manage even the most difficult cases with successful return-to-work outcomes. She has a strong hospital background in neonatology, oncology and emergency nursing.
Gloria Torres, RN, BSN, MS:Gloria’s nursing experience includes occupational health, urgent care, and internal medicine, managing and directing a community health care clinic, and doing case management for workers ’ compensation cases as a field case manager. Fluent in both written and spoken Spanish, she is uniquely qualified to serve the Spanish speaking population and is highly sought out as a case manager by a wide range of employers and adjusters. Gloria earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Aurora University and her Masters of Science in Health Services Administration from the University of St. Frances.
Barbara T. Westermann RN, BS:Barbara has 20 + years of experience in case management, working with injured workers to aid in assuring appropriate medical care and cost-effective rehabilitation. She began her career at Northwestern Memorial Hospital as a nurse in intensive care and post anesthesia units. She later became a Clinical Supervisor managing a 40- bed surgical unit at Northwestern. Barbara obtained her Bachelor of General Studies from Northwestern University and earned her nursing diploma from James Ward Thorne School of Nursing.
Stephanie Winding RN, CCM:Stephanie is a healthcare professional with more than 33 years of experience in a variety of nursing specialties including case management, acute care patient, ICU/NICU and private duty home care. With 14+ years as a medical case manager in the workers' compensation arena, Stephanie understands the value of returning the injured worker to a safe and appropriate job and of cooperating with employers, physicians and the legal community in accomplishing timely and professional case management.
